A first sketch proposal setting out the main features of a possible design,

PRELIMINARY STUDY

An elaboration of the sketch plan, with more detail regarding utilities, and hard- and soft-landscaping.

A finalised proposal including detailing for all the design elements, construction specifications, planting plan with purchase and execution specifications, and management plan for an agreed period.

Masterplan - large rural garden

planting plan

The plan sets out in detail the trees, shrubs, perennials and other plants to be planted, together with specifications for purchase of the plants and execution of the plan. Should you require only a planting plan and no other features (utilities, hard landscaping) I can provide a planting plan as a stand-alone service.

management plan

Realising the ecological value of a design stands or falls on correct management techniques. The first year is particularly critical, and I propose quarterly follow-up visits as standard. The management plan covers up to a 10-year period.

ecological consultancy

It may be that you are not looking for a design as such but ‘simply’ advice on how to maximise the ecological potential of your site, urban, rural, grassland, woodland, water or other. I offer consultancy on a stand-alone basis.
